Conductor

Her path in choral conducting began within the children’s choir she belonged to, at the age of 12, under the guidance of director Betty Sainz. This experience was a vital stimulus for her continued studies at the “Juan José Castro2 Conservatory with Maestro Antonio Russo and in numerous University Extension Courses at the University of Buenos Aires with Maestro Oscar Castro. She was assistant conductor and then director of the Vicente López Children’s Choir and the Arion Children and Youth Choir. Since then, choral activity has been part of her life. She is the author of the book De Sembrar se trata (GCC Editions) as well as compositions and arrangements for children’s choir. She has participated in numerous choral groups and, in 2014, she founded the “De Sembrar” Children’s Choral Network, which brings together children’s choral groups under the same pedagogical program with a repertoire based on the ancestral and folklore music of Latin America.

She is the creator and director of the Aurea Voce Ensemble, a group that focuses on sacred and secular music of the 16th and 17th centuries. With the aim of expanding its interpretive and expressive capacities, the group evolves towards a multidisciplinary experience, carrying out projects integrating dance and theater, such as Selva d’amore, Il Ballo di Tirsi e Clori and Amore Vincitore. The ensemble regularly performs in venues in Buenos Aires – in a capella concerts, as well as with guest musicians.

Since 2023 she has programmed and directed the Cantoría and Camerata of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University of Buenos Aires, with whom she performed “Gloria” and “Magnificat” by A. Vivaldi.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Choral Directors of the Argentine Republic (ADICORA).
