Mariana Rewerski is a distinguished Italian-Argentinian singer and conductor with a solid and diverse musical background. She pursued her academic studies at several prestigious institutions, obtaining diplomas as a singer and instrumentalist. She won the First Prize of the “Academia Bach – Festivales Musicales” (Bach Academy – Musical Festivals) Singing Competition and began her career at an early age at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, performing various operatic roles.
She has performed on important international stages and in music festivals in Europe and Latin America, excelling in both operatic and oratorio roles. Her versatility is reflected in her participation in various CD and DVD recordings, encompassing a wide repertoire, including works by composers such as Cavalli, Handel, and Rossini, as well as Spanish and Argentine music of the 20th century.
Mariana has been part of numerous choral groups and ventured into choral conducting at an early age. She founded the “De Sembrar” Children’s Choral Network and directs the Aurea Voce Ensemble, specializing in Renaissance and Baroque music. She is also director of the Cantoria and Camerata of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University of Buenos Aires.
As a member of Board of Directors of the Association of Choral Conductors of the Argentine Republic (ADICORA), Mariana contributes to the development and promotion of choral music in her country. Her dedication and passion for music have made her a leading figure in the world of classical and choral music.
